Description
Indications:
-Cabercare is a dopamine agonist. The active ingredient cabergoline inhibits the release of the hormone prolactin and is used for:
-Treatment of disorders associated with increased prolactin production (hyperprolactinemia), e.g., menstrual irregularities, infertility, or galactorrhea.
-Treatment of prolactin-producing pituitary tumors (prolactinomas).
-Reduction of elevated prolactin levels: Prolactin can increase with the use of anabolic steroids → cabergoline normalizes.
-Counteracts gynecomastia and libido problems: Reduces prolactin-related side effects such as lactation or erectile dysfunction.
-Stable testosterone effect: Lower prolactin levels often improve the maintenance of testosterone’s effects (increased libido, less fatigue).
-Psychological effect: Some report increased motivation and a better sense of well-being when prolactin levels are not too high.
